Cara beribadah

Last week ade sambutan Isra' Mi'raj kat Malaysian Hall Melbourne. It was held on Saturday. I was one of the volunteer who set up the place aong with some of my friends [lutfi, arif, rohul, mawi, faris, n ade lagi x? cant recal] A forum was held and the panelists are Izhar Muslim, Ihsanuddin, Hazwan and Suhaimi. Each of them represent their respective student association except for Suhaimi coz he hold a few committee position for more than one student association, kind of an all rounder.

One of the point raised during the forum was "cara ibadah" yg dibangkitkan oleh saudara Ihsanuddin [if im not mistaken]. Generally there are 3 ways of us to perform ibadah. They are:
1. Sbg seorang penakut
2. Sbg seorang peniaga
3. Sbg orang yg bebas

1.orang yg penakut - dalam penerangannya saudara Budin [name panggilannyer] berkata, "kita boleh beribadah kerana takutkan kemurkaan Allah s.w.t. dan api nerakanya di akhirat kelak". Dan memang kita disuruh untuk tidak takut dgn apa2 dan sesiapa kecuali Sang Pencipta.

2.sbg peniaga - kita beribadah kerana mahukan ganjaran, keuntungan, balasan drpd Allah di akhirat kelak, syurga. Jika ada yg ingat, kita pernah diberitahu bahawa dunia ini adalah tempat tumpangan sementara. Tempat utk kita menyediakan bekal di hari perhitungan, tempat utk beramal [beli saham] dan menikmati hasilnya [ganjaran syurga] di hari kebangkitan.

3.orang yg bebas - ini adalah sebaik - baik cara beribadah yg boleh kita lakukan. kita beribadah utk mendapatkan redha Allah semata - mata. tetapi bukan mudah utk kita mencapai tahap ini, namun tidak pula mustahil. Inilah cara ibadah para rasul dan sahabat serta para sufi. di hati mereka bukan lagi syurga atau neraka, tetapi pengharapan akan redha Allah semata - mata. Apa sahaja yg mereka lakukan, tiada apa yg mereka fikirkan kecuali Yang Maha Esa.

masanya akan tiba

Evi oh Evi

ade sorg mamat ni die blaja kat oversea dengan bantuan biasiswa.kalau x kerana biasiswa, manakan mampu kedua ibu bapanya dapat menanggung kos belajarnya di sana.manakan tidaknya, dia baru anak kedua daripada tujuh orang adik beradiknya.waktu itu umurnya sudahpun menjangkau 20 tahun dan adiknya yang paling kecil berumur 4 tahun.

adiknya itu bernama Eviana atau nama panggilannya Evi.ketika dia dilahirkan, abang die ni berada di tingkatan 4 dan pd ketika itu die bersekolah di sekolah asrama yg jauhnya lebih drpd 700km drpd rumahnya.so, klu nk balik rumah pun mmg jarang la.kadang2 tu 3 bulan skali baru balik umah, bile ade cuti panjang.mamat ni sayangkan adiknya, evi tu.tp disebabkan die slalu xde kat umah, setiap kali die balik bercuti, die kna ingatkan adik die "adik, ini adalah abang" sbb setiap kali die cuba nk mendekati evi, evi mesti cuba menjauhkan diri.pada evi, abangnya tu merupakan seorang yg asing.tetapi abangnya itu x mengalah.walaupun sedih sbb adiknya sendiri menjauhkan diri drpdnya, die tidak cepat menyerah.die yakin, suatu hari nanti dia dapat menawan hati adiknya itu.

selepas peperiksaan SPM, die pulang ke rumah.seperti biase,evi masih tidak mengenali mamat ni sbg abangnye.mamat ni terus bersabar.mulanya dia mahu mencari kerja bg mengisi masa lapangnya tetapi ayah die cakap "tak payah la, awak dah selalu xde kat rumah.awak tolong la mama awak kat dapur tu, uruskan kerja rumah ni ke.lagipun papa xnak awak dah seronok pegang duit, awak xnak sambung belajar" nasihat ayahnya itu diterima tetapi die tetap cakap bahawa bukan duit matlamatnya.akhirnye ayah die izinkan die cari kerja.die cuba memohon kerja di satu minimarket di pekan.semuanye ok kecuali die xde masa utk solat zuhur.die cuba berbincang ttg waktu kerjanya supaya die mempunyai waktu solat tetapi manager tu kate itu bukan masalah die.dan akhirnye mamat tu pun cakap "kalau mcm tu xpe la" sambil tersenyum

waktu itu die x terasa menyesal sedikit pun sbb die tahu ape yg dilakukannya itu betul.mungkin ada hikmahnya.jadi, die pun menghabiskan cutinye selama hampir 4 bulan di rumah bersama keluarganya.lagipun die tak terpilih utk menyertai PLKN, die x kisah.klu dpt pergi, klu x, duduk rumah.haha.dan di sini la hikmah kenapa tuhan aturkan nasibnye sebegitu rupa.

setiap hari die melihat evi yg ketika itu sudah berumur setahun lebih membesar di hadapannya.dan evi sudah mula boleh mengenali abangnya walaupun pada nama sahaja.tetapi bg mamat tu, itu merupakan suatu perkembangan yg baik.dalam umur evi yg baru setahun lebih itu, sudah menjadi lumrah suka didukung.dan selalunya evi hanya mahu didukung oleh emak atau ayahnya sahaja.die tak mahu didukung oleh orang lain.tetapi emak n ayah evi bukannya kuat boleh dukung die berjam2 tanpa rehat.maka diserahkan la pada abangnya.pada mulanya mmg la dia menolak.tetapi setelah dipujuk, akhirnye die mengalah dan merelakan abangnye mendukungnya.itu pun tidak lama dalam sepuluh minit je.kemudian evi akan mencari emaknya pula.walaupun hanya sepuluh minit, abangnye tidak berasa puas.tetapi die tahu die tak boleh memaksa hati seorang budak.kena ade cara

di dalam rumah pula, evi ada tabiat suka mengacau orang lain.biase la budak2 kan.tapi cara die mengacau orang lain itu yg x dpt ditahan oleh semua ahli keluarganya.sbb evi suka mencakar atau mencekau [bak kata org johor] orang.tak kire, tangan ke, kaki ke, badan ke.cara die mencekau orang mmg sakit.dan die selalu kena marah dgn kakak n abangnya yg lain sbb x tahan.tp berlainan pula dengan abgnye yg sorg ni.tiap kali evi mencekaunya, die buat dek je.mcm xde ape2.bukan x sakit, tp die tahan je.die akan biar sampai evi selesai.bile dah sudah die selalu cakap "dah sudah ke?" sambil tersenyum.bg die, ape la sangat rasa sakit tu klu die dapat memenangi hati adiknye yg sorg tu. x boleh marah die.klu awak nk marah pun, jgn dgn hati" tp, pd satu hari, bile mamat ni tgh buat kerja kat komputer die, evi datang mengacau.banyak kali die cakap dengan evi supaya jgn mengganggunye tetapi tidak di ambil peduli.tanpa sengaja die meninggikan suaranya kpd evi.evi terkejut.evi sangat terkejut dgn reaksi abangnya itu.matanye mula berair sambil melihat abangnya.abang die pun tibe2 terkejut bile tgk evi mcm tu.mase tu mak die ade kat situ. mak die cakap "abang, die tu terkejut awak marah die" marah? die pun tersedar akan kesilapannya.nampaknya die telah memarahi evi dengan hatinya.die mengambil nafas dalam2 utk menenangkan diri. kemudian die memanggil evi lalu memeluknya.die dudukkan evi di atas ribanya sambil berkata "abang minta maaf k" sambil menitiskan air mata.

sekarang, hubungan antara evi n abangnye tu sudah menjadi sangat rapat.die suka bermanja dengan abangnye n abang nye sangat bersyukur dengan perkembangan tu.

beberapa hari lepas, mamat ni menelefon ke rumahnya.mase tu evi yg menjawab.disebabkan sudah lama die tidak mendengar suara evi, die pun bercadang utk berbual dgnnye.die sangat seronok mendengar adiknye bercerita tentang buku mewarnanye yg sudah habis diwarnakannya.die kate die nk beli buku baru.kemudian, sedang rancak berborak tibe2 evi berkata "abang, abang..evi nk tanye sesuatu boleh x?" dgn penuh tanda tanya mamat tu pun cakap "ha, tanye je la" kemudian evi pun bertanya "abang, abang..nape asyik asyik kakak je yg balik?..kenape asyik asyik abang je yg x balik?..evi xnak la asyik2 kakak je yg balik..evi nak la plak abg plak yg balik.." waktu itu suaranya semakin perlahan dan sayu.hati mamat itu sangat tersentuh dgn pertanyaan adiknya yg baru berumur 4 tahun itu.die terdiam seketika. die cakakp "xpe, abg janji bulan ni abg balik.25hb nnt abg balik" "tp nape asyik2 abg je yg x balik?" "nak buat mcm mane, klu abg nk balik kene naik kapal terbang" "abang..abang..itu hari kan, evi ade nampak kapal terbang..lepas tu die jatuh..abang..abang..jgn naik kapal terbang la..naik bas kan senang"

begitu la kisah seorang budak perempuan yg berumur 4 tahun yg membuatkan abangnye nk menangis. dalam hati mamat tu die berkata "jaga la awak nnt evi. balik rumah nnt abang nk layan kerenah awak" ^_^ [2007]

God or No God

: Is God good?

Student:

My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him.
Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't.
How is this God good then? Hmm?

Prof:

Student:
Yes.


Prof:
Is Satan good?


Student
: No.


Prof:
Where does Satan come from?


Student:
From....God...


Prof:
That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?


Student:
Yes.


Prof:
Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?


Student:
Yes.


Prof:
So who created evil?


(Student does not answer.)


Prof:
Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible
things exist in the world, don't they?


Student:
Yes, sir.


Prof:
So, who created them?


(Student has no answer.)


Prof:
Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the
world around you.
Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?


Student:
No, sir.


Prof:
Tell us if you have ever heard your God?


Student:
No, sir.


Prof:
Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you
ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?


Student:
No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.


Prof:
Yet you still believe in Him?


Student:
Yes.


Prof:
According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says
your GOD doesn't exist.
What do you say to that, son?


Student:
Nothing. I only have my faith.


Prof:
Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.


Student:
Professor, is there such a thing as heat?


Prof:
Yes.


Student:
And is there such a thing as cold?


Prof:
Yes.


Student:
No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)


Student
: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega
heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat.
But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below
zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that.
There is no such thing as cold .. Cold is only a word we use to
describe the absence of heat
. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy . Cold is not the opposite of
heat, sir, just the absence of it .
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)


Student:
What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?


Prof:
Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?


Student :
You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can
have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light.....But if
you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called
darkness, isn't it? In
reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make
darkness darker, wouldn't you?


Prof:
So what is the point you are making, young man?


Student:
Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.


Prof:
Flawed? Can you explain how?


Student:
Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is
life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are
viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can
measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought.. It uses
electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully
understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be
ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing.
Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor.Do you teach your students that they evolved
from a monkey?


Prof:
If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.


Student:
Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize
where the argument is going.)


Student:
Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and
cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you
not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a
preacher? (The class is in uproar.)


Student:
Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter..)


Student
: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt
it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according
to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol,
science says that you have no brain,sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face
unfathomable.)


Prof:
I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.


Student:
That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH . That is all
that keeps things moving & alive.

Right and Wrong, which is it?

When you do something, regardless of what it is, do you think what you did is right, acceptable? The same goes when you see someone do something, regardless of what it is, do you think what he did is acceptable or the other way around? [Reader: Where does this guy wants to lead us?]

During my study in secondary school, I was thaught in history that the people who lived in my country were warriors for peace and freedom of their own land. And that's what me and the rest of my classmate were thaught. We accept it and memorize their names, place, biography, their history by heart. But I remember there was once my teacher said the western [whos at that time 'invade' my country] thaught their people of the same people to be the exact opposite of what we were thaught. They were thaught that these people are terrorist, war-maker, opposition, and all the bad stuff as they menyusahkan pemerintahan yang dijalankan at that time. Well, which is which? Whose is whose? What is what?

Which one is the truth? Mane satu yg betul? One side kate "si A" ialah seorang pejuang sbb die tidak mahu penjajah menakluk dan mentadbir tanah mereka seperti yang mereka lakukan pada waktu itu. Bagi penduduk yang menduduki tanah itu seperti "si A" mempunyai pandangan yang sama dgn si A dan menyokong tindakannya. Bagi penjajah, si A merupakan seorang pemberontak dan harus ditangkap dan dihukum. Bagi rakyat si penjajah, si A merupakan seorang pemberontak kerana menentang pemerintahan yang digunapakai ketika itu. Bagaimana pula dgn pandangan orang ketiga? Pandangan dari seorang yg bukan pejuang dan bukan juga penjajah. Adakah kita akan berkata "si A ni betul sbb hak die diambil" atau "si penjajah tu betul sbb mereka yg memerintah, jadi mereka yg diperintah haruslah mengikut cara pemerintahan yang dijalankan" I'll leave this as it is. It's up to you guys to think about it coz that's not the main thing i want to share here. It was just a spark for you to think.

Okay, it's time for the real thing. Persoalan yg perlu ditimbulkan di sini ialah, "Mana yg betul, mana yg salah?" Bila kita lihat seseorang itu melakukan kejahatan, mencuri sbg contoh, kita melihat dia sbg seorang yg jahat, dan tindakan itu salah di sisi undang - undang. Bahkan dari segi moral, perbuatan itu tidak patut dilakukan as we are thaught to respect others. But, that's only one side. Ape pula pandangan si pencuri? Apakata jika si pencuri itu mengatakan dia perlukan duit. Dia lapar dan mahu makan, sekadar mengalas perut, bukan sehingga membuncitkan perut dan seterusnya dapat banyak penyakit sebab banyak makan. If u say "kenapa tak cari kerja?" he did, tp xde orang nak bagi kerja. Even mengemis pun die dah buat tp before die dapat duit utk makan he might be in the afterlife already. "kenapa tak kutip tin and jual kat tempat recyle ker, dapat duit, kerja jgak" do you think he's as smart as you? consider that too. he might be dumb, dumb enough that he can do that as an alternative. then, are you going to blame him for being dumb? who's right now? who's the wrong one? It doesn't end here. People will say "he did the crime, whatever it is the bottom line he did it and need to be punsihed by law or whatsoever" Is that true? Is that right? Is that the solution to the problem? If he's thrown into prison you'll prevent him to steal during his imprisonment, when he's release? He might think it's better to steal again and get caught coz he'll be fed there and have friends and home to stay. To me it doesn't sound like solving the problem. Then what must we do? There must be an answer, but what? What if I say, "Get that man clean, feed him and help him to find a job and a temporary place for him to stay until he can settle down. Get him to apologize to the person he steal and explain his situation to him" [Who will do that?] Ask yourself, if you don't want him to steal again then help him. If you can't find a person who can. Help him to help yourself. You are doing yourself a favor by doing that.

Some people think that they are smart as they know a lot of stuff. Some have a degree, master, or even a PhD. For them that's a measurement how smart someone is. But, the truth is that can only be called "how not dumb you are" measurement. It's just that people are offended by that word that they don't use it. We as human, we are dumb. Dumb enough be called one coz there're lots of stuff that we don't know. Those who doesn't know is what we call bodoh, jahil. Sebab mereka tidak tahu. It goes for me as well. But that doesn't mean that you can't be smart. Be smart enough to be "not that dumb" is what i say. lol. Then one might raise a question "Then what's the purpose of having the law?" Mind you, The law is not absolute. There are flaws here and there, loop hole [swindlers use this to escape from the law] If one section says this, there's another section saying the opposite. Law is just the guideline for us human to follow. Because that law is human made, it's not perfect. The only perfect is The Almighty God, Allah. The one and only god. From him, through His messenger He gives the law in the form of Islam. This comes through my beliefs. It has nothing to do with preaching other people into Islam. Nothing of sort. Eventhough we have the man-made law, but my top law-to-be-followed is the one in Islam.

Oh, it's dragging even further from my inital point. Well, basically I want you guys especially those who read this to think "how do I view things?" Will you be the one sided person who jump into conclusion straight away, in a blink of an eye or will you take sometime to consider others position as well? It's your choice. Even when you see someone being in the lowest position you can imagine, how will you see it? Will you see with respect and care or with one selfishness. Some might even don't give a damn of what I wrote here coz everything i said is crap. It's up to you, you have your view as well. I respect that, will you be able to do the same? It's your call

Revival

Assalamualaikum pembuka bicara [selamat sejahtera for non-muslim]

Since the first time I ade this blog, there was only 1 post..Though I was pumped to use it at that time, work did lowered my focus significantly..Now, thanks to a certain someone I'm gonna add "blogging" into my weekly routine..Alright..from now on I'll make use this blog to the fullest..Wait for my next post =D

1st ever made

i was thinking of using flash to make this but some unfortunate event happened that i lost all my weeks of work that not even close to finish..i was so desperate on finishing this video that i used easier software i.e windows movie maker and what do u know? it's amazingly easy as i mentioned..i made this video within 2 hours..although i'm not satisfied coz i didn't use flash but i still am happy that i finished it..and that's for now..
